Engineering Summit Write Up for Maricor Divinagracia:

UP Diliman College of Engineering is a factory of remarkable individuals. I was blessed to be part of it. During my college days, Ive become active in various organizations and one of which is my most beloved family UP Engineering Society. Having been elected as the organizations president last academic year, it was my task to oversee everything; from the members to the projects, before and after its execution. And one thing that stands out among everything else is Maricor Divinagracia, no less. Cor could be your typical shy girl next door, but dont let her fashionable look fool you. Once she sets her mind to something, consider it done. Thats what I have observed with Cors attitude towards her duties and obligations in the Academics Committee of UP Engg Soc. I vividly remembered her being the events head of a very important project close to my heart; The Engineering Symposium. This event was so intimadating, one could easily crumble. But Cor did not! I actually thought were not pushing through with the event due to numerous problems and delays we encountered, not mentioning the fact that it was a pioneering event. Again, Cor didnt give up and believed on the projects potential. And she was right, the event was total success! Thats what I admire about Cor; focused, goal-driven and passionate!
