Project Proposal Structure
1. Title (The essence of the proposed work should be captured in the title and be as informative as possible.)
3. Aim & Objectives (Identify the overall aim of the project and the individual measurable objectives against which you would wish the outcome of the work to be assessed.) 4. Methods / activities (Describe the methods you will use, hence the major tasks to plan. What will you be spending your time doing?) (= the rows of the Gantt chart, say 8-12 categories) 5. Deliverables (Outline the major deliverables of the project. If these are numbered, d1d10, say, you can indicate them on the Gantt chart)
6. Resources (Identify the resources required to carry out the above programme of work. e.g. materials, software, test rigs)
7. Beneficiaries (Show who is likely to benefit from the proposed work.) 8. Risks/Hazards (Identify any potential risk/hazards involved in the project.) -complete a separate Risk Assessment form online 9. Work plan (Illustrate the work plan with a Gantt chart. - see outline :) Activities research activity 1 activity 2, etc writing reports plot weeks along here, showing holidays, exams and busy periods
