Follow these steps to create a PI section using the line constant from an existi ng T-line 1.

Open the transmission line definition, right click and select additional opti ons 2. In the additional options set the create PI-section component filed to 'yes' 3. Solve constants 4. In the workspace window, right click on the definitions field and click impor t definitions, a window will pop up. 5. Go to the folder corresponding to the case and open the'.cmp' file which will have the same name as your transmission line. 6. The file will now be visible under the definitions tab in the workspace windo w. 7. Right click on the file and select 'create an instance' 8. Click paste on your canvas A PI section with the line constants corresponding to the T-Line will be created .
