    Motorola's Managed Optimization Service allows the carrier to optimize its network, RAN, GPRS data overlay and UMTS elements. The three services that form the core of this Managed Service are: RAN Optimization Service, GPRS Network Optimization Service and UMTS Performance Service. By managing the service, Motorola allows the carrier to optimize its network without the need to build in-house capability. Motorola will initially assess the performance of the network, make recommendations for improved performance and then implement. On a periodic basis Motorola will re-assess performance. Motorola manages this service on behalf of the carrier which means reduced cost to the carrier, a guaranteed service level and peace of mind.
