The name Coyote Trickster comes from the myth that the coyote becomes the Trickster.

He usually covers up his physical weaknesses and lack of physical strength. He is clever and cunning and has the ability to shape shift. In Native mythology, he was the one to bring fire and floods. He is both a despised and loved character in folklore.
