IMPORTANT - Before any work is carried out on a safety system component, be sure to lock the airbag computer using the (diagnostic tool) (see 88C, Air bags and pretensioners, Air bag computer locking procedure ). When this function is activated, all the trigger lines are disabled and the airbag instrument panel warning light is lit when ignition is switched on.

IMPORTANT Handling pyrotechnic systems (airbags or pretensioners) near to a source of heat or ame is forbidden: there is a risk of triggering the air bags and pretensioners.

ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE FOR THE REAR SEATS, SECOND ROW Screw in and tighten, with the seats in folded position. Hand-tighten the bolts (8) and (9) for the rear seat front support.
Pull the front support of the seats back as far as it will go. Open and lock the seats.

Make sure the seats are completely locked. Tighten the left-hand bolt (8) of the front support.
