Yoda Hat

Being a Jedi Knight has never been easier. Simply fold this model, put it on your head, paint yourself green, take acting lessons, and you too can become Yoda Jedi Master. 1 2 3 4

For a hat that will fit an adult human head, begin with a 27-inch square. White side up. Valley-fold and unfold the vertical diagonal. Valley-fold the horizontal diagonal.

Divide the base of the model into thirds by folding the left side in front and the right side to the back.

Fiddle with the folds until the thirds are exact. Then unfold to step 2.

Valley-fold front layer point to point.

Valley-fold both layers.

Mountain-fold the corners into the pocket.

Valley-fold.

Valley-fold the front flap.

Valley-fold the tip to just above the folded edge. Valley-fold the tip.

Valley-fold to the bottom of the tiny white triangle. Place the flap under the front layers.

Repeat steps 14-17 on the left side.

Open the hat and push the top edge downward making the hat three dimensional. Shape the hat to taste. Pull the ears to the sides and shape them to taste. Make pleats below the nose. Shape the mouth and nose to taste.

Yoda Hat is ready to make a Jedi knight out of any bad actor.
