NMC 2012 - 9th International Workshop on Nanomechanical Sensing (NMC) June 6-8, 2012, IIT Bombay, Mumbai, India
The Workshop on Nanomechanical Sensing focuses on new developments, investigations, applications of cantilever-based sensors, cantilever systems engineering and other nanomechanical sensing techniques (QCM, Nanowires and Graphene). It aims at bringing together companies and academia to present their latest results in a lively and personal atmosphere. The conference provides a forum for sharing ideas; learning about developments in the broad area of Nanomechanical Sensors; and interacting with professionals, experts, and colleagues in the field. The conference is intended for researchers, engineers, scientists, managers and students. This workshop is a follow up of previous workshops held at Madrid (2004), Knoxville (2005), Copenhagen (2006), Montral (2007), Mainz (2008), Jeju (2009), Banff (2010), and Dublin (2011). Papers are accepted in the following areas: Microcantilever based Sensors Materials for NEMS BioMEMS Modeling and Simulation of NEMS

Nanomechanical Sensing Techniques Abstract Submission There is a "short abstract" which will be published online on the conference webpage and will remain after the workshop. Authors should submit a short abstract of an original, unpublished paper. This abstract should not exceed 1000 characters and cannot contain Figures or Tables. The "workshop abstract" will be published in the handbook that will be distributed among all workshop participants. This abstract should not exceed 2 pages and may contain Figures and Tables etc. Extended manuscripts will be published in the Journal of Sensors* after going through the journals peer review process.
