Overview The Global Woman of Vision program celebrates the accomplishments or outstanding women in the Edmonton area women who have implemented their passion and whose personal dedication and actions inspire us all to new levels of achievement. Their commitment and leadership enrich our lives and make our community and world a better place. We profile 12 Woman of Vision stories each year on the first Monday of the month on Global Edmonton NEWS HOUR and on the Avenue Edmonton Magazine website blog. The Woman of Vision recipients are also honoured at our annual March luncheon and their stories appear in a one hour Woman of Vision Special in May. Submissions All nominations submitted are reviewed bi-monthly by members of the Global Woman of Vision Advisory Board. Nominations must be submitted in writing. Please include this form along with a one or two page profile of your nominee, including pertinent details about her background and accomplishments. Some questions you may ask yourself include: How does she inspire you and others around her? What projects has she pioneered and/or what has she achieved in the community? What obstacles has she overcome? What makes her visionary? What do you see as her vision?
