To meet the present and emerging challenges of the organization,aneedhasbeenfelttooptimizethepotential of executives, in line with HRM Mission To ensure availability of competent, motivated and effectively contributingHumanResourceandfacilitatingachievement of full potential of employees at all times to realize the organizational mission. Our organization is in the process ofmovingtowardsa CompetencyBasedHuman ResourceManagementApproach. ForthispurposeIamproposingtoconductanexercisefor assessing the behavioral competencies of our executives visavistheirrolerequirement. I request you to please propose an approach and executionplan for theCompetencymappingprojectas perscopeanddeliverables

Please provide your inputs based on the below mentioned Objectives and Purpose of Competency AssessmentProject ProjectObjectives: 1. To conduct competency assessment for competencies mapped to the designated set of roles using Development Centre approach. Identification of function specific competencies fromtheframeworkforthefollowingfunctions: 1.Manufacturing(Maintenance,Shipping) 2.Engineering&design(includingR&D) 3.Procurement(MaterialManagement) 4.Marketing&commercial 5.Finance 6.HRM(includingPR,Admn,Medicaletc) 7.Planning&Development 8.Projectmanagement,Monitoring,Co ordinationetc.

2. Prepareadetailedreportforeachindividualand suggestdevelopmentplans&methodologiesfor bridgingthecompetencygapsinthecurrentrole. Thereportshouldalsohighlightthestrengthsof theindividualandhispreferredlearningstyle. 3. Conductonetoonesessionstoprovidefeedbackto theDCparticipantsoncompetencygapsinthe currentroleandsuggesteddevelopment initiatives. 4. Create a consolidatedcompetencymatrix indicatingindividualscores for DC participants againstallcompetencies. 5. Create a fitment report indicating best functional fitfor each individual based on fitment score of competenciespossessed. 6. Identify/developasuitableeenabled Psychometric Toolforassessment of

competencies oftheframeworkforonline administrationandcorelatethepsychometrictool parameterswithCompetencyModel. 7. Designasuitablesupplementarytoollike180 degreefeedbacktocorelateactualbehavior displayedwiththeresultsofthepsychometrictool. 8. Conducttrainingofinternalassessorstoadminister thepsychometricandsupplementarytools, interprettheresults&providefeedback.
