Symptomatology MANIFESTATIONS

Fever

PRESENT/ABSENT 

RATIONALE
Release of cytokines which consist of vasoactive agents such as interleukins, tumor necrosis factor, urokinase and platelet activating factors which stimulates WBCs and pyrogen release

Headache Caused by broken capillaries. Mouth and Nose Bleeding


Muscle and Join Pains

 

Nausea & Vomiting Caused by broken capillaries. Rash


Hypotension Peural Effusion Ascites

 
fluid accumulation in the chest and abdominal cavity due to increased capillary permeability and leakage leading to decreased fluid in the circulation.
Increase number and size of the pores in the capillaries which leads to a leakage of fluid from the blood to the interstitial fluid (capillary leakage) of the different organs and skin Cellular direct destruction and infection of red bone marrow precursor cells as well as immunological shortened platelet survival causing platelet lyses. Decreased platelet count would indicate bleeding disorders.

Gastrointestinal Bleeding

Altered level of consciousness

with resorption of the leaked fluid into the bloodstream, fluid overload may occur and sometimes affecting the brain.
