MINUTES OF THE TOWN OF NEWBOLD LAKES COMMITTEE FOR TUESDAY, JANUARY 17, 2011 Rt.

47 and Apperson Drive, Rhinelander, WI 54501 1. 2. 3. 4. Chairperson Scott Eshelman called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm.

In attendance: Connie Muckelberg, Paul Kuhn (until 6:30), J.R. Bartelt, Jeff Ewald. The minutes of December 20, 2011 were approved as printed. The following lake associations reported as follows: a. b. c. d. Flannery/Velvet Lake is experiencing a rush in membership prior to the end of the tax year. Pickerel Lake reported 23-24 of ice on the lake. Two Sisters Lake received 123 returned surveys and are analyzing the responses. Lake Mildred is anticipating the option of the welcome packets and continues to wait for Onterras response to their stakeholder survey.

5. Michele Sadauskas reported that some lakes and some town lakes associations have begun a What to Do list if an invasive species is found in a particular lake. She will email out examples for us to discuss at our next meeting. It was decided that Connie Muckelberg and Scott Eshelman will draft a proposed flyer to be discussed at the February meeting. 6. On a motion by Connie Muckelberg and a second by J.R. Bartelt the meeting was adjourned at 6:45 pm. The next meeting will be on February 21, 2012 at 5:30 pm. Respectfully submitted,
