    PASS THE NEW YORK DREAM ACT (S4179/A6829)!

    Dear Governor Cuomo, Majority Leader Skelos, and Speaker Silver: We, the undersigned, urge you to support and secure the passage of the New York Dream Act. We, the undersigned, believe that the United States Congress failed our communities by not passing the DREAM Act in 2010. This has left undocumented youth in New York and across the country without any form of relief. The state of New York has one of the largest immigrant populations in the country. It must stand for fair immigration policies in the midst of national and local antiimmigrant policies. It is now up to the state of New York to provide equity of access to higher education by giving the promising and deserving undocumented youth of this state access to the tuition assistance program (TAP) and public scholarships. Pass the NY DREAM Act!
