CONCEPT Movember is a program that needs people to step up and participate. In order to get men to do so we need to tell them why, and show them how easy it is to be a part of it. Its only 30 days; what else can grow/happen in 30 days? (plant growing) Who else has a moustache (famous /iconic) that would be inspiration. (Chaplin, Dali, Sherlock Holmes, Village People) Reasons why having a moustache is better. Girls point of view - more attractive) STYLE The piece will be a collaged style, with photos, bits of footage, and drawings combined. Statistics, directions, names/ styles of moustaches, bits of information, names of other people with moustaches, will all be written/drawn - analog style. Some photos will be static, some will be moving footage, cut up frame by frame to look like stop motion/flipbook. Elements will drawn ontop of photos or footage. Drawings will feel slightly alive rather than completley static. EDIT The camera will be moving through a space full of these collaged scenes. We will move from one scene to another seemlessly as if we are traveling with time, in the course of the event. Most elements of scenes will exist as we move with the camera to find them, while some others will appear and resolve as we are within the scene, such as type and drawings. AUDIO People talking about the program and statistics of mens health -OrAudio track, as the written words will seak for themselves.
