GROWING OFFICE CULTURES

Silicon Valley is a damp, unstable, quasi-liquid landscape that has a history of agriculture and is home to some of the largest corporations in the world. There is an over growth of typical office parks that exist which has created an infection of vacant office space in massive numbers. These vacancies are extremely crucial, where specific zones equal to the same percentage of vacancy as Detroit. damp + unstable silicon valley The environmental conditions and physical land of Silicon Valley is fostering the propagation of a new species of growth. Additionally, due to the atmosphere of office buildings, moderate temperatures and available nutrient sources makes it most ideal for mold growth. A significant amount of energy and materials are required for these structures to be maintained while they are in use and after the tenant vacates. With all of these factors merging, it allows a newly sporous architecture of Silicon Valley to materialize.
