Torres (505) 476-2250 vincent.torres@state.nm.us FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE February 28, 2012 LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR SANCHEZ TO PARTICIPATE IN FORUM ON ECONOMIC FREEDOM SANTA FE Lieutenant Governor John Sanchez will be in Albuquerque on Thursday to participate in the Forum on Economic Freedom, presented by the LIBRE Initiative, in partnership with the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, The Latino Coalition, and the Hispano Chamber of Commerce de Las Cruces. The LIBRE Initiative, along with its partners, will seek to inform local citizens, business owners, and leaders about the critical role of economic freedom in promoting economic prosperity in New Mexico. Forum activities will include a networking session, two panel discussions, and a keynote address by Lieutenant Governor Sanchez during the luncheon. Panel discussions will primarily focus upon principles of free enterprise, personal responsibility, and limited government, and the importance of energy to the U.S. and New Mexico economies. Confirmed Panelists include Jon Barela, Secretary of Economic Development; Paul Gessing, President of the Rio Grande Foundation; New Mexico State Representative Dennis Kintigh; Carla Sonntag, President of the New Mexico Business Coalition; and Gerges Scott, Vice-President of the D.W.
