Stanford Graduate School of Business Discover what it takes to develop an idea into a successful venture through an intensive four-week program for graduate students and researchers with backgrounds in engineering, medicine, science, and humanities. The Stanford Graduate School of Business Summer Institute for Entrepreneurship offers the unique opportunity to build analytical and practical skills critical to business and building an innovative venture. This groundbreaking program, taught by renowned Stanford Graduate School of Business faculty, utilizes a combination of lectures, workshops, small group discussions, guest speakers, and panels to give participants a comprehensive understanding of business fundamentals and entrepreneurship. Venture capitalists, presentation consultants, and expert entrepreneurs mentor participants throughout the program on how to formulate and effectively present a winning business plan. The program concludes with presentations of team-developed business plans to panels of experienced venture capitalists from prominent Silicon Valley firms.
