Design Brief Miniture Steam Traction Engine

The design team has been approached to design a miniture steam traction engine to be utlized by hobyists interested in steam engine kits and miniture steam engines. The device should be designed in such a way to allow it to be contructed by hobyists at home in a workshop with basic tools and equipment or supplyed as a finished product. The device should conform with all relavant health and safety standards. The finished product should be constructed of materials which minimize its total weight while maintaning good corrosion resistance and structural strenght. The device should be able to pull and carry a significant load without a major impact on peformance or reliability. This load will include the water for the boiler and whatever flammable substance is used to boil the water. The fuel could be either coal, wood , oil or any other flammable substances. The steam traction engine should also be able to pull the weight of at least one fully grown adult and a full load of fuel.
