    The Commissioner of Collegiate Education in Andhra Pradesh issued a notification regarding scholarships for students from Economically Backward Classes (EBCs) for the 2008-2009 academic year.     NOTIFICATION
    EBC SCHOLARSHIPS 2008-09

    The Students of Economically Backward Classes (EBCs) with an annual


    parental income of less than Rs. One Lakh studying in Polytechnics,
    Professional Colleges (other than Medical) University Colleges – both PG and
    UG Colleges in Government, Private aided and Private unaided institutions
    are eligible to apply for Higher Education EBC Scholarships. The Scholarships
    would be given based on merit.

    The eligible students should apply in duplicate in proper format


    available on WWW.APCCE.GOV.IN and also with Principals or Regional Joint
    Directors of Higher Education attaching the following certificates.

    • Income Certificate and


    • Community Certificate issued by the MRO
    • Photo-copy of Ration Card of the parent or Electoral Roll number
    of the parent
    • Educational qualification certificates from SSC onwards
    • TC of Previous College.
    • Bonafide Certificate (issued by the principal of the concerned
    institution in the format).

    The last date for submission of application is 10-12-2008 before 5.00pm
