    It looks like we may be coming out of winter with the weather warming up,we always assumed that cormorants were sea birds but a few of them seem to have taken a liking to our lakes around the club house. Friday February 17-Individual Stableford A rainy start to the day which made for a late start, however over half the field did not wait for the rain to abate but those who saw it through were rewarded with a dry and sometimes sunny round 1st Jim Barclay 36pts 2nd Glyn Ombler 33pts 3rd John Bridgen 32pts on a card play off Twos: Jim Barclay and John Bridgen at 12th Wednesday February 22-Individual Stableford Although some of the regulars were playing in the league match down at Alboran, there was still a good turn out on a fine sunny day 1st Mike Hill 35pts 2nd Chris Baker 34pts on a card play off 3rd John Bridgen 34pts Twos: Bob Schofield 4th Wednesday February 29-Individual Stableford It will be a long time before our next Wednesday comp is played on the 29th Feb, and our in form Frenchman made all the running for an easy victory, another unusual occurrence one of our 3 ball matches all had twos on the same hole the 4th, we cannot remember that happening before. 1st Pierre Dominguez 39pts 2nd John Bridgen 36pts 3rd Kevin Manser 34pts Twos: Chris Baker, John Bridgen and Louis Long (all in the same 3 ball) plus David Street 4th, Pierre Dominguez 12th and Pat Sayer 17th Guests and visitors are welcome to join us on a Mon,Wed and Friday For information contact 636938404 or 634641199
