25 Ways to utilize your document camera!

Use as a microscope. Use for read-alouds (can pre-record as well). Show manipulatives. Model filling in a Graphic Organizer. Edit a student paper. Snap photos of student work to turn into a slideshow. Allow students to share work and explain problem solving. Show fragile items without handling concerns. Capture photo/video of science experiments. Take images of documents you want to import into ActivInspire. Model directions for an activity. Show images only available in the teachers edition. Show students how to use handheld devices (i.e., FlashMasters, Study Buddies or ActivExpressions). Record students giving a book review and import into a flipchart. This could create a class digital review for an authors study. Record tutorials for solving problems and post on your website. Display show and tell items.
