    This land is your land, this land is my land! We are learning about the USA. The children have been introduced to the southern states on a USA map that touch Tennessee. As we study different symbols and landmarks each day, we will increase the number of states to go on our large USA map! Be sure to check our March calendar daily to be in the know! We started the week with a story about Christopher Columbus and his love for exploring. We have learned that our country has 50 states and that the USA bird is the bald eagle. We made a GIANT American flag with our handprints! Our week ended with a southern snack provided by Mrs. Lucchesi. The children ate yummy cheese gritsa true southern snack!
