3 FACES will be danced by ASWARA Dance Company who are trained in the rigours of multiculturalism available through the

syllabus at ASWARA. We promise an evening of dance that will possibly leave you gasping in awe at the talent of performers and the richness of dance in Malaysia!

The evening in 3 acts will feature:

Bharatanatyam - Netranthi Nerathile Synopsis Who was that girl by the river bank that showed suggestive calls to you at dusk? Say a dozen things, but I have no ear for all that, having seen the both of you together. I was so consumed by your thoughts that I have no eaten. I am tormented by our happy memories together. Please come to me now and ease mu pain, My Lord. The heroine thus confronts Lord Muruga about His dalliance with another women the other evening and consumed with righteous anger and hurt.

Makyung - excerpts from Dewa Indera Indera Dewa Synopsis A journey of two Princes, Dewa Indera and Indera Dewa who are attracted to a Princess, Tuan Puteri Selindungan Daun. At the same time, the Princess is haunted by the evil Jin Hitam Pasak Penunggul. The story begins when the two Princes, the Princess and Peran Tua are attacked by Jin Hitam Pasak Penunggul while they are resting on their way back to Istana Sepancar Alam. Jin Hitam Pasak Penunggul falls in love and covets the Princess and wishes to makes her his Queen. However, he is defeated in his battle with the two Princes.

Contemporary - Plan B Synopsis In life, we are blessed and sometimes cursed, with choices. In Plan B , a simple choice of life partners is enacted by the central characters the love triangle. Perhaps the most important lesson we learn is that everyone has their own beauty and is attractive, that we should always try not to hurt those we love, be thankful for our blessings and if we fail to get what we want, we should always have an alternative plan, get up immediately and get on with life.
