The design argument is also known as the teleological argument, is an argument for the existence of God based on the apparent design and purposes in the universe. The design argument can be called the inference to the Best Explanation. In this argument the existence of God provides the best explanation of the apparent design of life. It states that a designer must exist since the universe and living things exhibit marks of design in their order. The argument goes like this: Premise 1: The universe exhibits apparent design. Premise 2: The best explanation of this apparent design is that it is in fact designed. Premise 3: Every design has a designer. Premise 4: Because of the fact that the universe exists, therefore a creator must have designed the universe. Premise5: God is the Designer. ___________________________ Conclude: God exists. The creation of the universe can be explained by the theory of evolution, meaning that a creator or designer wasnt actually needed. The world was led to believe that the evolution brought about all things. Our universe and the earth came into existence as a result of an explosion on a matter of billion years of time. It doesnt really mean that if an explanation is the Best, it is the true and right explanation. The best explanation is an explanation that majority accept. The best explanation is not that the universe has a designer and been designed. We could have been evolved from less complex organisms

that adapted and mutated throughout thousands of years. Since our planet is millions years old, evolution is more reasonable answer to the creation and diversity of life organisms, many similarities between animals and even distinguishing similarities of humans to animals support this idea.

Life came from simple organisms and then developed more complex
