PROJECT SYNOPSIS:
I will work on the project titled, Risks involved in lending to small and medium enterprises. Hereby, I will assess the various risks involved in lending to the small and medium scale enterprises which occupy a major share in the countrys GDP. This would include 1. KYC check - for the borrower. 2. Financial analysis- of the borrower. 3. Analysis of the risks involved- in the company and industry the borrower is classified into. 4. Industry analysis- growth of the industry. The financial analysis would include analysis of some key ratios for the borrower. This would include : 1. Current ratio 2. Leverage ratio 3. Gearing ratio 4. Net profit margins 5. Gross margins 6. Sales growth 7. EBITDA 8. Cash flows For the analysis I will select one company from each of the following five sectors: 1. Manufacturing of garment. 2. Manufacturing of jewelry 3. Service sector. 4. Trader of chemicals. 5. Construction and interior designing.

Tables included in the project report would include: 1) Balance sheet 2) Profit and loss account 3) Cash flow statement 4) Comparative table of various ratios Charts and diagrams to be included are Pie charts, Histograms etc. which would depict the percentage of lending to the various industrial sectors as well as the risks attached to each sector.
