OF THE MEETING HELD ON FEBRUARY 3, 2012 AT 2:00 P.M. AT THE BRIEFING ROOM, MUNICIPAL MAYORS OFFICE, TOLOSA, LEYTE BAC Resolution No. 04 Series of 2012 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT TO RD COBACHA CONSTRUCTION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ADMINISTRATION BUILDING (PHASE 3) (SECOND FLOOR STRUCTURAL & WALLING, ROOF DECK AND STAIR) WITH A COST OF THREE MILLION NINE HUNDRED NINETY FOUR THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED EIGHT PESOS and 08/100 (P 3, 994, 808. 08) WHEREAS, THE Local Government Unit of Tolosa, Leyte through its Bids and Awards Committee has posted both in E-PROCUREMENT SERVICE and in all conspicuous places in the municipality of Tolosa on January 13, 2012 and conducted public bidding on February 3, 2012 for the Construction of Administration Building (Phase 3) (Second Floor Structural & Walling, Roof Deck and Stair) at the Briefing Room, Municipal Mayors Office, Tolosa, Leyte in the presence of bidders and their representatives; WHEREAS, three (3) bidders submitted their bid quotations, to wit: RD Cobacha Construction RT Morabe Construction Rockworld Industries

WHEREAS, the evaluation conducted by the BAC Technical Working Group, showed that the RD Cobacha Construction is the lowest calculated responsive bidder with a bid amount of Three Million Nine Hundred Ninety Four Thousand Eight Hundred Eight Pesos and 08/100 (P 3, 994, 808. 08) provided under Section 37.1 of the REVISED IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9184, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT REFORM ACT; NOW THEREFORE RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the BAC to award as it is hereby awards to RD Cobacha Construction for the Construction of Administration Building (Phase 3) (Second Floor Structural & Walling, Roof Deck and Stair) in the amount of Three Million Nine Hundred Ninety Four Thousand Eight Hundred Eight Pesos and 08/100 (P 3, 994, 808. 08) to be completed within 30 calendar days, being the lowest calculated responsive bidder. Done and signed this 8th day of February, 2012 at Tolosa, Leyte.
