    Japan and India are two of the largest economies in Asia, with Japan ranking 3rd globally in GDP (nominal) and India ranking 9th. While Japan has a more developed economy focused on industry and services, India has a larger population and faster GDP growth, but also higher levels of poverty. Both countries rely heavily on trade, with China being a top export/import partner for both Japan and India.
