Alcazar Capital, a Dubai-based Private Equity & Boutique Advisory house focusing on Emerging Markets, is aiming to hire a top-notch

intern to assist its investment team in analyzing investment opportunities and executing on advisory and or investment deals in small-mid cap companies across a range of industrial sectors, with a focus on telecoms. The internship period is for six months, starting December 2011/January 2012. The intern will work closely with the investment team on real transactions with direct practical involvement. This is great opportunity to join a young and highly entrepreneurial team as youll get the chance to work on all aspects of a transaction origination and execution, in addition to being involved in fund raising processes. The role consists in: Providing analytical and research support for potential transactions Performing financial analysis and company valuation Participating in due diligence efforts Actively following portfolio companies and their most recent developments Preparing information memorandums and internal reporting documents Preparing and attending meetings with partners and targeted companies Assisting the team in fund raising processes

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have: Genuine interest in Private Equity / transaction advisory in Emerging Markets Ability to execute research and use financial tools Willingness to be part of a small team and take a lot of responsibilities from day one A first-class academic track record. Applicants must be penultimate-year or final year students Previous experience gained in top-tier institutions is a plus (Mergers & Acquisitions or other relevant Investment Banking experience) Top-class modeling and valuation skills and an ability to understand complex capital structures Ability to work fast and under pressure Strong communication and interpersonal skills Fluency in English
