    As a TSE I tackled network related hardware and software problems that junior tech's need help with. While disconnecting servers, workstations, hubs, routers, external modems, network and stand-alone printers, and all computer related desktop appliances and peripherals. Reconnecting the computers to the designated LAN or WAN, reestablishing connections to MS SQL Server database applications. Performing network administrator duties on MS SMS and ZENworks 1.0,re-connect network printers, workstations, network fax machines and the like.     Analyzed and improve network performance, programmatically, software, and hardware-wise. Supervised a team of 6 other administrators, performed a system-wide upgrade from Windows NT 4.0 to Windows 2000(Server and professional)on 100 servers and 3000 client work stations. our strategy was to collapse their router backbone with ATM switches, for greater backbone bandwidth for higher-throughput for data services. The ATM switching offered high-speed switching technology for voice, video, and data. That reduced congestion in existing shared-media, we used Cisco's ISO to configure all networking appliances. Created Outlook Express email users, managed the email server using MS Exchange Server, creating user accounts,

    maintained network connections for all local and remote users, installed the latest and greatest patches and updates to software packages.
