    Since beginning to study the Mayan Calendar eight years ago, one question has been asked over and over, how is the Mayan Calendar relevant to our lives today? With this in mind, here is presented one word interpretations of each of the 20 day signs and 13 tones or numbers of the Mayan Calendar System.     First is the Mayan Name then Aztec name followed by the literal translation(s) and finally the one word interpretation. Hopefully, this is of assistance to any beginning their journey into the Mayan Calendar. The alchemical application of the words and combinations of day signs and tones can be contemplated as well.
