EHCCIs mission statement: Provision of appropriate assessment, screening and treatment through multi-faceted approach of multi - disciplinary complementing services. EHCCIs vision: > To develop further awareness and treatment of the existing dually diagnosed illness currently affecting our society called the Mentally Ill and Chemically abused or MICA. > Sobriety of the chemically dependent client. > To network with different facilities involved to improve the quality of our programs in the treatment of both mental illness and the chemically abuse. EHCCIs goal To provide a safety environment and a therapeutic milieu during the process of treatment. The Staff EHCCI is run by a highly structured multi-disciplinary team, of professionals composed of 24 hr. nursing services, nursing attendants attending psychiatrist, resident on duty, internist (if needed), occupational therapist, psychologist and spiritual staffing. The Facility EHCCI is known as a psychiatric facility since 1980-an expansion from its origin called the Half Way House in 1967. It has gained its name as a treatment centre for any psychiatric form of illness, emotional disturbance and behavioural problems. Be it a major or transient effect of a mental disorder or chemical abuse or both a dually diagnosed disorder name MICA patient or a mentally ill chemically abuse. EHCCI is a 60 bed capacity short term patient centre for drug dependent detoxification and psychiatric illness and long term patient centre for MICA or extended care program. It is situated on 1,400 square meter lot at 177 Kamias Road, Quezon City.
