MULTI-PURPOSE ROBOT INTERFACED WITH LABVIEW

ABSTRACT
The aim of the project is to construct a robot that does bomb detection, defusion, syp and rescue with fire detection using wireless technology in PC. Nowadays, robots are playing very important role in the automation of the companies. This is to reduce the human error and also to increase the productivity. This is one of the projects to design the Robot for the rescuing purpose in the natural disaster or in bomb blast. The outline of the project is shown in the below figure. We are using the computer in this project to control the robot for bomb detection and diffusing through the wireless camera. For controlling the robot, the signal is transmitted through the RF using computer. We can use any software to control the Robo like VB, .NET, LabVIEW, etc.,This signal is received by the RF receiver and through the level converter interfacing circuit, we can send the signal to the microcontroller, which is a programmable IC, where we can program it to control the motors according to the signal from the computer. The motor driven circuit improves the current capacity of the microcontroller. The encoder is to convert the microcontroller digital signal into frequency code and the decoder is for the reverse operation of the same. The level converter in the computer is to convert the signal level of the microcontroller to the computer RS232 port. The microcontroller is also programmed to control the diffusion mechanism according to the signal from the computer. We are also program the IC to sense the signal from the Metal Detector and also from the temperature sensor. We are using the wireless transmitter in the camera to transmit the video signal. This signal is received by the video capturing card and monitored in the computer through the tuner card. Thus we can monitor the situation and can control the robot for diffusing the bomb from remote place and avoid the death of the bomb diffusion force people.
