    Descriptive Writing

    Objective Description
    My study table is rectangular, 60 inches long and thirty inches wide. Made of a two-inch-thick piece of wood, its top is covered with a shiny and scrathless glass. In the right corner, close to the wall, is a red and tall table lamp, a table calendar which is placed by the side of the lamp. Above the study table is a book shelf, which is held by the support of six thick and strong metallic nails hammered in the white wall of my room. The shelf has 36 books and a blue round-bottomed vase is placed on top which contains white artificial flowers with large ovalshaped petals.

    Subjective Description
    My life at home converged around the pleasantly-shaped study table. Cut from the sturdiest wood, the table is tough, smooth, and long enough for me to study and place all my books and other stuff. My Favorite red and tall table lamp, stationed in the right corner, is placed beside a rectangular table calendar. Leaving few inches above the table is a shelf in which I place all the books that I have. It has become easy for me to compile all my books, novels and other readings at one place. On the top of the shelf I have placed a vase which my cousin gifted me. It looks more like a body of fat women which has white flowers on her head.
