Testimony of Praise

A look at the different stories behind the songs in the SDA hymnal, and how these songs are still touching lives today. At least 26 episodes, running for approximately 15 minutes each.

Participants needed
We need a volunteer for every episode, who is willing to share a brief testimony about the way a specific hymn song gave them encouragement or inspiration during a difficult event/time. Testimonies will be based around the following questions:
Howwouldyoudescribeyourspirituallifebeforetheevent? Whendidtheeventoccurandhowdiditcomeabout? Whatwasyourreactionandwhy? Howdidthosearoundyoureactandwhy? WhatmadeyouturntotheSDAhymnal? Howdidfindingthehymnaffectyou? Howwouldyoudescribeyourspirituallifenow? Whatadvicewouldyougivetoothersgoingthroughasimilarsituation?

The entire recording process should take a maximum of 30 minutes. We also need volunteer musicians and singers, to be recorded performing a selection of hymns. Where possible, songs will be performed in both English and Swahili and recordings will be sent to HOPE TV International. The interviews and performances will be conducted in the Media Centre studios, located on Advent Hill in Ongata Rongai. Filming will take place between 19th March and April 11th.
