Fostering Resilience:

Ready When the Time Comes, a corporate volunteer program, taps the human resources of corporate America. The American Red Cross trains employees from partnering corporations and mobilizes them as a community-based volunteer force when disaster strikes.

The Community Resilience Pilot is an initiative designed to improve resilience by supporting collaborative networks to take action to address specic risks and hazards in a local community.

The pilots primary goal is to increase the communitys capacity to work collaboratively under non-emergency circumstances, so that when a disaster occurs, the community not only is better prepared, but also has critical partnerships and systems in place to effectively respond and recover well.
