Gala Day to be held on Friday 23 March 2012 at Glenbrook Panthers Bowling Club. Cards called at 8.45 am. (Club main doors will not be open at this time park in the main carpark and then enter through the Hare St side gate by walking up the hill). Game 1 Game 2 Game 3 Game 4 Game 5 aVc aVd dVe aVe aVb bVd bVe cVb cVd cVe eA V eB* cA V cB* aA V aB* bA V bB* dA V dB* N.B. *Games marked * are cross-over matches between Pools and DO NOT count in the overall pointscore. They are used to eliminate a BYE. Pool Winners and Runners-up to return Friday 30 March for 3 matches of 12 ends each in round robin format. Winning side qualifies for State Final 16 playoffs. Conditions of Play: Pool winners determined by number of points (2 for win, 1 for draw, 0 for loss) then total shots up; then percentage shots for/against; then most ends won; then 1 end playoff of one bowl each player. Finals Draw: Game 1: A1 v B2, A2 v B1 Game 2: A1 v A2, B1 v B2 Game 3: A1 v B1, A2 v B2

Lunches: Lunches are to be organised by the teams themselves. The Club Bistro will be open if required players must be supervised by their team manager when in the Club at all times. Sides leaving to get takeaway food are reminded that they are not to bring food purchased elsewhere into the Club grounds. Players are welcome to bring their own packed lunch if required. Equipment: Sides are reminded that they must provide their own bowls (or contact Glenbrook BC to organise a loan). Players must have flat soled shoes or play in socks. Teams will require a pen to score each game. Wet Weather: If the weather causes any doubt regarding play, please contact Gavin on 0403136675 from 7.30am. The Convener may alter the competition format to bring the event to a satisfactory conclusion.
