People all over the world are fecling the effects of the deterioration of our environment-we have global warming, tsunamis, floods, el nif, and la nifia, among others. We realized that ‘we need to make a stand to help save our world. We decided to put up an all organic and eco- friendly baby store as our way of helping out, by bringing these products to mothers in our country. A drastic transition is quite unrealistic given the limitations we have in the Philippines, but we believe that through small baby steps, we will be able to influence others to do the same, until we achieve our vision of helping out in controlling wastage and controlling negative environmental impacts caused by our daily lifestyle and practices. Where are moit of; the products made? Aside from being organic or eco-friendly, we wanted our products to be locally sourced and manufactured to control the environmental impacts caused by shipment transportation. But wwe faced the challenge of finding such products in our country as the market for these products is still quite undeveloped. Thus, we need to import our products from different countries that have the technologies that conform to good manufacturing practices with the least impact to the environment. Most of our products were sourced from the USA and Australia, We also have products from Denmark, Israel, UK, Germany, Thailand, and Hong Kong. We hope that our products will be able to inspire local entrepreneurs and producers to ‘manufacture with the same commitment and through the same environmental-friendly processes. And we are in the hopes of centralizing these products under one roof - Numa's As of now, we only have St. Patrick as the Filipino made brand to introduce organic line to infant wear industry. atl
