LOCAL AGREEMENT

BETWEENTHESTATE OFCAUFORNIA, AVENAL'STATE PRISON

AND THE CALIFORNIA CORRECTIONAL PEACE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION

GCPOAand CDOR have arrived at the following agreemenfin regard to AB 1 09 that meets the
needs of correctional officers and management. The mutually prepared and drafted agreement
by both agrees,as folli;ws:
CCPOA SUBMITTED THE FOLLOWING PROPOSALS:
1. CCPOA needs a..copy of the deactivation schedule showing the deactivations for the 175
and 150 cuts.
2. We .are requesting that you delete .. a position from E yard on third watch, #353227 and
bring back a position onE yard, second watch, #252219.
3, We would like corrected copy of postorder or addendums for Facility A, C and E yards
for the positions that have had to take on duties from positions that have be.en

4. Chang.e .duties to Education Officer so that they are an Education/Yard Officer to each
yard thathas.been affected and ncitto divertthemwhen education Is down.
5. Dueto the deactivations and minimal staffir)g we recommend closing one side of the
dining hall on-each ofthe affected facility.
ASPAGREEDTOAS FOLLOWS:
Position ;#353227, third watch, will be deleted, and.positions #252219,.second watch will
be brought back.
