    Description:Press Tool components play an important role in every aspects of modern world. They influence ranges from house hold utensils to automobile components. Requirement of todays world is production, accuracy and interchangeability, which help to meet the competition in the world (automobile industry, home applications, etc). In order to meet these challenges press tools play an important role in production. Objective of our project is to Design and Manufacture Blanking and Piercing Die for the production of the component that is used for the reinforcement of rear door corner for Trax(MUV). Our project deals with the design of the die, Validation of the design, Manufacturing of the die. Our plan of action will be as follows, Study of Standards of Die Designing in September, Designing of Die and its validation from September to December, Manufacturing of die from December to March.
