Hand Held Device
Hand Held Device
Using the hand-held device, Mr. Doris awards moment by moment (+) or (-) scores for basic true-false style questions and demonstrated cooperation, and A-D scores for more valuable qualitative responses. Absences count against students only in the sense that it limits the number of assessment opportunities. Different kinds of responses generate different point values. Being in the bathroom does not excuse a student from participating in class. (They should use the passing period to take care of personal business.) Opting to not respond" or "skip" a question does impact point values. **Each grading term students will receive a score 1-100.
