Kalhie Quinones, also known as Qbala is an emcee/song writer who strives to make her audience move and think with her loud, wild and brutally honest style. Whether its the stage or the basketball court, Qbala was born to entertain. She played college ball where she performed in tournaments like the Final Four and GNAC in addition to winning a shootout tournament (30-5) with University of Anchorage Alaska. As a child Qbala constantly danced for her friends and siblings while soaking in the loving support from her mother and father who encouraged her to embrace her love for entertaining. Qbalas music is known to explore the reality of her personal life situations and adversities. Her fans often relate to the topics she explores: sexuality, religious battles, haters and fakers. I feel comfortable bitching about topics my fans can Jam to - Qbala Qbalas inspirations are most importantly her family and higher power. However, she looks up to gures like Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks and Dave Chapell. Currently Qbala is working on Finishing and lming a video for State of Dementia. She is also coordinating a 3 city state tour and out of state tour. Qbala will continue to nd herself through music and embrace self expression as the highest form of therapy available.
