NGOs are non-governmental organizations, not-for-profit organizations, voluntary associations of people and communities, may work at local, regional, national or international level.

Issues faced by women:

Self-decision regarding education, participation, mobility, economic independency, public speaking, awareness and exercise of rights, political participation and many more factors ensure women empowerment. In short women empowerment is the breaking of personal limitation.

How do NGOs help women?

NGOs help women fight for their rights and get justice. NGOs act as a strong support. NGOs help motivate women. NGOs make women self-dependent. NGOs also help women build from grass root level.
