Evaluation Criteria for Project Work (Business Plan) TYBBA Trimester IX

(Dated: 07/02/2012) Students of TYBBA A, B & C divisions are hereby informed that the subject Project Work in trimester IX will be for 200 marks. This project work would be evaluated for 200 marks as a business plan from each team. The last date for submission of the business plan is 24th March 2012. The schedule for viva would be informed to you in due course. The students would be evaluated on the following criteria: 1. Group Presentation (30% weightage) and the students would be evaluated on formal dressing, presentation skills and ability to reply to queries raised by the panel. The time duration for the group presentation is 10 minutes per group. 2. The Business Plan (70% weightage) and the evaluation of the business plan will be on the following criterion: a. Your business concept: It can be a 1. Product offering 2. Service offering 3. Franchisee operation of a brand You would be evaluated on Innovation / New ideas, uniqueness of the concept and its feasibility Technical as well as financial viability. The students should be able to defend their business ideas in a constructive and convincing manner. b. The data submitted by the students in the business plan should be comprehensive and relevant to the business plan. (As far as possible the group should avoid Cut and Paste data) c. Each group should be able to identify and explain their business plan with respect to what they have learnt in theory during the last 9 trimesters. (In particular to subjects like Project Management and Strategy) d. The students observations, analysis and conclusion regarding the data would be evaluated. These criteria would be given high weightage. e. Each group should be able to explain and defend what they have learnt during the preparation of their business plan.
