MEMORANDUM FOR ALL CADETS FROM: C/CC SUBJECT: Cadet Attendance Policy 1. Cadet Attendance is used to keep track of active and inactive cadets, and needed for accountability. This policy outlines how attendance will be taken. 2. Attendance will be taken by the flt/CCs and Cadet Command Staff using the attendance sheet. The attendance sheet will be organized by flight and staff position. All cadets, before the end of each meeting, will (1) review their information on the sheet, (2) write in any corrections/additions, and (3) sign-in where directed. Each flt/CC and C/CC will be responsible for maintaining, updating, and bringing his or her own attendance sheet which must be based on the current edition of the Cadet Roster. The attendance will be given to Cadet Personnel (C/DP) by the end of each meeting. 3. C/DP will take home the attendance for updating the roster IAW the roster policy, but will bring it back the following week and file it in an attendance folder for later access. 4. The attendance sheet will consist of the date, each respective cadets name, CAP grade, assignment, home phone number, cell phone number, academic year, signature space to sign in, and space for requests to C/DP IAW the roster policy. 5. To update the attendance sheet, flt/CCs and the C/CC are to make notes of changes separate to the attendance sheet and electronically update their attendance at home. They should do this regularly as changes occur.
