HALLOWEEN WORD SCRAMBLE

Learning Center Instructions: 1. Empty the contents of the envelope onto the table. 2. Separate and group the laminated cards by color. Colors are arranged by the following colors: a. Nouns ORANGE cards b. Verbs BLACK cards c. Adjectives YELLOW cards d. Other words/punctuation WHITE cards 3. Using the laminated cards and your imagination, arrange the cards to create fun sentences while using the proper sentence structure techniques previously learned in class. 4. Once you create a few sentences, pick up one of the BLANK index cards and a color pencil of your choice. 5. On your BLANK index card, start by writing your name in the upper right hand corner of the card. 6. Then, on that BLANK index card, write down some of the sentences you created with the laminated cards. 7. Once you have AT LEAST 3 COMPLETE SENTENCES on your card, choose your favorite sentence and draw a picture describing that sentence on the back of your index card. 8. Once you are finished, please clean up the center by placing all laminated cards back in the envelope provided and all colored pencils in the container provided. 9. Be sure to place your index card in the completed assignments bin once finished. Double check that your name is on the card before turning it in.
