Ticket to Work Program

What?
The Ticket to Work program assists individuals with Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) with finding and keeping a job. The goal is to end these individuals dependence on SSDI and SSI programs. The Ticket to Work program is entirely voluntary. Those eligible for the program receive training and employment through Vocational Rehabilitation Services or other employment networks. These services are available all across Minnesota in over 50 WorkForce Centers.

Who?
Individuals age 18-64 with disabilities receiving SSDI or SSI benefits. To find out if you are eligible, call 866-968-7842.

How?
If an individual is approved for the Ticket to Work Program, he or she will receive job training through Vocational Rehabilitation services located in one of the WorkForce Centers. A rehabilitation counselor will work with the individual to develop an employment plan that is unique to his or her needs.
