Cohort refers to: A group of individuals who experience the same event within the same time interval. Consists of: A series of surveys conducted at appropriate time intervals where the cohort is the basic unit of analysis

Longitudinal design: A sample of population is measured repeatedly on the same variables

Same people/sample, same variables

Cross sectional design Collection of information from a sample of population only once.
