Looking back at your preliminary task (the continuity editing task), what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to full product? I feel that I have made huge step forward in terms of progression for media skills, for example knowledge of camerawork, mise en scene and juxtaposition. When I made my preliminary product I found it hard to take a photo that had a professional look that had been considered. Eventually I was able to set up models who had been dressed appropriately according to genre and audience. In my preliminary work the front cover was a photo that had been taken out side as a location shot but was then cropped to look as if it was taken in a studio however when it came to my final magazine I planned for a studio shot. The juxtaposition of my final product is far more like a professional magazine than it appears in my preliminary work as I have had far more time to look at exemplar during research and planning stages.
