KATA ALU-ALUAN PENGARAH
Bismillahi-r-Rahmani-r-Rahim,
Syukur Alhamdulillah kerana Institut Pendidikan Guru Malaysia (IPGM) telah berjaya
melaksanakan sesi pengajian kepada pelajar yang mengikuti Program Ijazah Sarjana
Muda Perguruan dengan Kepujian ini bermula pada Januari 2007. Kejayaan
melaksanakan program peringkat ijazah pada kali pertama ini membina suatu lakaran
sejarah baru kepada 27 Institut Perguruan Guru Malaysia dan Bahagian Pendidikan
Guru, Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia.
Buku Panduan Program Sarjana Muda Perguruan ini disediakan bagi membantu Institut
Pendidikan Guru Malaysia merancang dan melaksanakan pengajian akademik selaras
dengan keperluan kurikulum. Maklumat am yang dimasukkan di dalam buku ini seperti
Kerangka Konseptual Kurikulum, Pengenalan, Matlamat dan Hasil Pembelajaran
Program perlu diteliti dan difahami oleh tenaga pengajar supaya aspirasi latihan
perguruan dalam program ijazah ini dapat dicapai secara optima.
Bahagian lain di dalam Buku Panduan ini memberi tumpuan kepada Struktur Program,
Perincian Kursus-kursus yang ditawarkan, Agihan Kursus Mengikut Semester, Sinopsis
Kursus, Sistem Penyampaian dan Pentaksiran, Matriks Hasil Pembelajaran, Pakej
Kursus Elektif dan Kombinasi Major dan Elektif boleh membantu Institut Pendidikan Guru
merancang dan menyediakan jadual waktu pengajaran, pelantikan tenaga pengajar,
pengurusan bahan sumber pengajaran-pembelajaran serta menguruskan agihan pelajar
berdasarkan kumpulan pengajian. Justeru, sistem pelaksanaan program ini di semua 27
IPGM ditadbirkan secara berpusat (centralised), maklumat-maklumat khusus tentang
program ini sangat berguna untuk dijadikan panduan kepada IPG berkenaan.
Di samping itu, Buku Panduan ini juga membantu pelajar memahami kandungan dan
sinopsis kursus yang akan mereka ikuti. Memang menjadi hasrat Bahagian Pendidikan
Guru dan Institut Pendidikan Guru Malaysia untuk melahirkan guru profesional setelah
pelajar mengikuti pengajian dan latihan perguruan,
Saya percaya Buku Panduan ini akan membolehkan tenaga pengajar dan pelajar
memahami keperluan kurikulum dan pengisian pengajian dengan skop yang menyeluruh
bagi menjayakan program ini dengan cemerlang.
Pengenalan
Kurikulum Pendidikan Guru adalah suatu pelan pengalaman pembelajaran untuk belajar
dan pengalaman pembelajaran untuk mengajar bagi melahirkan insan guru yang
profesional dan bersepadu.

Struktur kurikulum direka bentuk mengikut 3 Aras bagi mencerminkan kurikulum yang

dicapai di dalam kandungan sukatan pelajaran dan sistem penilaian yang akan
digunakan sepanjang tempoh pengajian.

Strategi Pelaksanaan Kurikulum
Kurikulum program ini dilaksanakan menggunakan pelbagai strategi seperti yang berikut:

Spesifikasi Program adalah merujuk kepada matlamat, hasil pembelajaran, dan cara
bagaimana hasil pembelajaran dicapai dan dinilai, struktur program dan juga syarat-
syarat kemasukan pelajar.
Fokus hasil pembelajaran yang hendak dicapai melalui 3 tahap / aras selama empat
tahun pengajian adalah dari segi:

• Kemahiran Intelek
• Kemahiran Praktikal
• Kemahiran Kebolehpindahan
• Penghayatan dan Amalan Nilai
Hasil pembelajaran yang hendak dicapai pada Aras 1 akan diulang (revisit) semasa Aras
2 dan 3 dengan lebih meluas dan mendalam.
Bentuk penilaian boleh dibuat dalam pelbagai bentuk termasuk pentaksiran berterusan,
peperiksaan berpusat dan penulisan akademik.
Jaminan Kualiti
Kurikulum yang direka bentuk adalah berdasarkan prosedur Jaminan Kualiti Akademik
yang ditetapkan oleh Jaminan Kualiti IPG dan juga memenuhi Kod Jaminan Kualiti yang
menepati Malaysian Qualification Framework (MQF).
Kelulusan Kurikulum
Kelulusan kurikulum program ini berdasarkan Tatacara Kelulusan Program Ijazah Sarjana
Muda perguruan.

PENGENALAN, MATLAMAT,
Ijazah Sarjana Muda Perguruan dengan Kepujian yang ditawarkan oleh Institut
Pendidikan Guru Malaysia (IPGM) merupakan satu program latihan perguruan
praperkhidmatan bagi melatih guru sekolah rendah dalam pelbagai mata
pelajaran. Sebagai prasyarat, pelajar dikehendaki mengikuti kursus persediaan
selama tiga semester di IPGM yang ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Pelajaran
Malaysia. Pelajar yang lulus kursus persediaan ditawarkan untuk mengikuti
Program Ijazah Sarjana Muda Perguruan (PISMP) dengan Kepujian selama
empat tahun.
MATLAMAT PROGRAM
Matlamat Program ini adalah untuk melahirkan guru sekolah rendah yang
berkualiti dari segi penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan, kemahiran, dan keterampilan
profesionalisme dalam bidang masing-masing selaras dengan Falsafah
Pendidikan Kebangsaan dan Falsafah Pendidikan Guru.
v. memiliki dan menampilkan nilai, etika, dan amalan yang bertepatan dengan
Prinsip Etika Kerja Perkhidmatan Awam dan Kod Etika Keguruan Malaysia;
dan
vi. menghayati dan mengamalkan nilai murni sebagai insan yang percaya dan
patuh kepada ajaran agama dan kesejahteraan bermasyarakat.

SISTEM AKADEMIK,
STRUKTUR PROGRAM,
DAN
PERINCIAN KURSUS
SISTEM AKADEMIK
PISMP dengan Kepujian dikendalikan selama empat tahun dalam lapan semester.
Tahun Akademik
Tahun akademik IPGM dibahagikan kepada dua semester iaitu Semester Pertama
dan Semester Kedua. Setiap semester mengandungi 20 minggu. Pelaksanaan
aktiviti Semester Pertama dan Semester Kedua dijalankan seperti yang berikut:
Kursus Wajib
Kursus Wajib terdiri daripada Kursus Wajib Institusi Pengajian Tinggi (IPT), dan
Kursus Wajib Institut Perguruan Guru Malaysia (IPGM).
Kursus Wajib ialah kursus yang wajib dipelajari oleh setiap pelajar IPGM yang
mengikuti PISMP. Kursus ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan pengetahuan asas,
kemahiran generik, dan kemahiran insaniah yang perlu dikuasai oleh seseorang
guru. Kursus Wajib diagihkan sejumlah 23 kredit.
Kursus Teras

Amalan Profesional membolehkan pelajar menguasai pengetahuan dan
kemahiran pengajaran dan pembelajaran dalam situasi sebenar di sekolah.
Sepanjang mengikuti program, pelajar dikehendaki menjalani Amalan Profesional
selama 32 minggu yang dilaksanakan melalui tiga proses, iaitu Pengalaman
Berasaskan Sekolah (PBS), praktikum, dan internship. PBS dijalankan selama 4
minggu, praktikum 24 minggu, manakala internship selama 4 minggu. Amalan
Profesional diagihkan sejumlah 14 kredit yang merupakan salah satu syarat
penganugerahan ijazah.
Kursus Elektif
Kursus Elektif terdiri daripada dua Pakej Elektif yang diitawarkan untuk
membolehkan pelajar mengajar dua mata pelajaran lain selain daripada kursus
major. Skop kursus merangkumi aspek pengetahuan kandungan pedagogi dan
pentaksiran yang berasaskan sukatan pelajaran Kurikulum Bersepadu Sekolah
Rendah (KBSR). Pakej Elektif diagihkan sejumlah 24 kredit. Setiap Pakej Elektif
diagihkan sejumlah 12 kredit.
Kursus Tanpa Kredit merupakan Elektif Tambahan yang terdiri daripada English
Language Enrichment yang ditawarkan untuk menampung keperluan pelajar
dalam meningkatkan pencapaian Bahasa Inggeris bagi memenuhi keperluan
Malaysian University English Test (MUET). Elektif ini tidak diagihkan kredit.

Teras kepada sistem penyampaian dan pentaksiran ialah pembinaan daya berfikir
dalam kalangan pelajar untuk membolehkan mereka memainkan peranan sebagai
pengurus dan pemimpin pembelajaran di sekolah. Matlamatnya adalah
melahirkan guru reflektif yang sentiasa mengamalkan pembelajaran sepanjang
hayat dan sentiasa berusaha meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemahiran selaras
dengan perkembangan bidang pendidikan terkini.
KURSUS WAJIB
Kursus ini merupakan satu kursus yang membincangkan ilmu ketamadunan yang
mencakupi pengenalan ilmu ketamadunan, interaksi antara pelbagai tamadun
(Melayu, Cina, India dan Jepun), Islam dalam tamadun Melayu, pengaruh
tamadun Islam di Asia dan Eropah, tokoh-tokoh tamadun Islam, isu-isu
kontemporari, Islam Hadhari, dan proses pembangunan negara.
This course aims to build on learners’ current English language skills. It focuses
on the English Sound System, Parts of Speech/Word Classes, Tenses, Sentence
Types, Types of Questions, Listening and Speaking Skills, Reading Skills,
Paragraph Writing and Writing for Different Purposes.
Kursus ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemahiran Bahasa Inggeris sedia ada pelajar.
Tumpuan diberi kepada tajuk-tajuk sistem bunyi Bahasa Inggeris. tatabahasa,
jenis-jenis ayat, jenis-jenis soalan, kemahiran mendengar dan bertutur, membaca,
dan menulis untuk pelbagai tujuan.

This course describes about Language Acquisition theory, its relationship with
teaching and learning. Focuses wil be on reading, and writing remedial on
teaching and learning strategy, reading and writing remedial basic skills; types of
reading and writing basic skills activities, reading and writing in music education,
visual arts, and physical education and health science selection, development and
usage of electronic and non electronic and teaching and learning activities.
This course focuses on basic concepts of culture and an ethnic relation with
special attention to the latter’s development in Malaysia. This course emphasizes
on ethnics relations in Malaysia, basic concepts in ethnics relations, Malay
pluralistic society, economy development in ethnics relations in Malaysia, politics

development in ethnics relations in Malaysia, constitution in ethnics relations in
Malaysia, religion and ethnics relations, challenge and enhancement ethnics
relations in Malaysia, and the role of government and society.
Kursus ini mendedahkan pelajar dengan pengetahuan dan kemahiran asas untuk
mengaplikasikan aktiviti kreatif yang mengintegrasikan muzik, pergerakan dan
seni visual dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran pelbagai mata pelajaran
sekolah rendah. Kursus ini memberi tumpuan kepada aktiviti kreatif yang
mendorong kanak-kanak menggunakan imaginasi, ekspresi, inkuiri, dan
kecerdasan pelbagai. Kandungan kursus memberi perhatian kepada Pengenalan
kepada Seni dalam Pendidikan; Pendedahan kepada asas Muzik, Pergerakan
dan Seni Visual Sekolah Rendah; Aplikasi aktiviti kreatif dalam Pengajaran dan
Pembelajaran pelbagai mata pelajaran.
This course exposes students to the knowledge and basic skills in creative
activities by integrating music, movement and visual art which will enhance the
teaching - learning process of various subjects at the primary level. It emphasizes
the importance of creative activities that help stimulate imagination, expression,
inquiry and multiple intelligences. It also focuses on the introduction of Arts in
Education, exposure to basic skills in music, movement and visual art as well as
application of creative activities in the teaching and learning of various subjects.

Kursus ini meliputi sejarah unit beruniform; struktur dan organisasi; perlembagaan
unit beruniform; pengurusan dan pentadbiran; disiplin dan kerohanian; asas
pertolongan cemas; asas kawad kaki; istiadat dan orientasi kurikulum Unit
Beruniform sekolah rendah.
This course focuses on the history of uniform unit; structure and organization;
constitution of uniform units; management and administration; discipline and
spiritual; principles of first aid; marching; ceremonies and orientation to the
uniform units curriculum of the primary schools.
This course focuses on the basic knowledge and activities of camping; planning
and camping.
This course focuses on the general knowledge, history, rules and regulation; track
events; field event; management in measurement of track and field events;
organizing competition; team management.

WAJ3114 Bina Insan Guru 3(0+3)
(Character Building for Teachers)
Kursus ini bertujuan untuk melahirkan guru permulaan yang memiliki ciri-ciri dan
perwatakan insan pendidikan yang berpengetahuan, berdaya maju, berdaya
tahan, dan berdaya saing. Penekanan kursus diberikan terhadap pembentukan
diri guru secara holistik dan kontekstuial.
This course aims to produce teachers who are knowledgeable, proressive and
resilient. The course focuses on the development of the teachers holistically and
contextually.
Kursus ini merupakan suatu program perkhemahan selama empat hari tiga
malam. Tumpuan akan diberi terhadap aktiviti mendirikan dan menguruskan
perkhemahan, Malaysia cergas dan patriotik, latihan dalam kumpulan, kembara
dan orienteering, aktiviti di air, tazkirah / aktiviti moral, persembahan kumpulan
dan refleksi.

This course aims to nurture the awareness of the importance of public service.
Students are exposed to the skill of planning, organising and attending
workshops. The aspect which is given emphasises are social ettiquette, protocol,
public speaking, speaking skills, effective listening, table ettiquette, managing
official ceremonies and dressing code.

BIG Fasa IV (35 jam)
Kursus yang berbentuk perkhemahan selama tiga hari dua malam ini bertujuan
memberi peluang kepada pelajar mengaplikasikan kemahiran berfikir aras tinggi
dalam membuat perancangan dan pengendalian aktiviti. Tumpuan akan diberi
terhadap penyediaan mendirikan khemah, interaksi dengan komuniti setempat,
aktiviti kerohanian/moral, Malaysia cergas dan menaikkan bendera, latihan dalam
kumpulan, kembara sosial, jenis khidmat kemasyarakatan, khidmat pendidikan
kepada komuniti, kreatif dan inovatif.

This course aims to nurture the awareness of training development skills and
benchmarking, students are exposed to teachers and law mandate, Act 550
(1996), profesional circulars, service circulars, state education department

benchmark leadership characteristics, school organisation, school climate,
infrastructure and school curriculum infostructure.
This course aims to upgrade continuos self professionalism. The focus of the
course is related to workshops, workshops theme, administering post inventory

benchmarking visits, professional, interaction with excellent teachers, innovation,
professionasme commitment reports and reflective evaluation.

This course describes and elaborates on daily lesson plan orientation, the writing
of teaching steps, micro and macro teaching, concepts of teaching strategy,
approach, and technique; and implementing the micro and macro teaching.
This course describes the concept and principles of testing, evaluation, and
measurement, theory of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor, testing
specifications schedule and its construction, testing development, marks, types

sebutan dan penyukuan dalam bahasa Melayu, latihan sebutan dan penyukuan
sebutan, latihan transkripsi sebutan dan penyukuan sebutan, dan sebutan baku.
This course elaborates on the formation of Malay language words including the
formation of nouns, verbs, adjectives, and the formation of new words, affixes in
Malay language, Malay language word form, types of words, verbs, adjectives,
and functional word class.
BMM3110 Sintaksis Bahasa Melayu 3(3+0)
(Syntax of Malay Language)
This course explains what syntax is. It encompasses the noun phrase, verb
phrase, adjectival phrase, and prepositional phrase constituent order; sentences
in Malay language including phrase, clause, simple sentences, complex
sentences, compound sentences, and sentence construct processes.

BMM3111 Semantik dan Peristilahan Bahasa Melayu 2(2+0)
(Semantic and Terminology of Malay Language)
Kursus ini menjelaskan tentang semantic, fitur makna, makna leksikal, makna
ayat; perubahan semantic, teori pembuktian, ketaksaan dan kekaburan makna;
makna peribahasa, peristilahan, sumber istilah, skema tatacara pembentukan
istilah; aspek tatabahasa dan semantik peristilahan Bahasa Melayu, istilah
singkatan, lambang, dan ejaan.
This course prepares teachers with the knowledge of the history of Malay
Language, the Jawi spelling system, dictionary skills and the translation skills.

This course elaborates on concept of culture, society, the Malay culture (from
political, social, and economic aspects); external influence in Malay society, Malay
culture in literary and non literary resources, world view and Malay society
cosmology, and national culture.
This course coaches the students to carry out action research in school from
identifying research topic to drawing action plan; collecting, analising, and
interpreting data, writing report / article; organising action research seminar, and
printing and distributing action research findings.
This course introduces the basic Arabic language skills such as listening,
speaking, reading, and writing; discusses every component of the language skills
including concepts, importance, aims, and classification; and application all the
four language skills through various selected texts to evaluate students’ language
skills ability.

BAM3102 Kaedah Pengajaran Kemahiran Bahasa Arab 3(3+0)
(Arabic Language Skills Teaching Methodology)
This course on Arabic Syntax which is divided into word classifications; noun, verb
and articles along with the changing of every class of words, types of phrases and
sentences using different styles and patterns so that the students will thoroughly
understand regardless of any given types of sentences.
Kursus ini sebagai lanjutan kepada tajuk-tajuk yang dibincangkan dalam Kursus
Tatabahasa Arab I mengenai pembentukan ayat dengan gaya bahasa yang betul
dan tepat. Di samping itu kursus ini membincangkan kaedah mengajar sintaksis
secara umum dengan memberi penekanan kepada kaedah pengajaran di sekolah
rendah.
Kursus ini memberi tumpuan kepada teori dan praktik morfologi Arab. dengan
memberi tumpuan kepada kata dasar, kata terbitan, awzan sarfi, peraturan-

discuss the arrangement of verses and chapters of the Al-Quran, its mukjizat,
Nasikh and Mansukh, Muhkam and Mutasyabih. Ulum al-Hadith discuss
definitions and terminologies, the degreel of Hadith and rules in using
them.Definitions, purposes and characteristics of Hadith Qudsi will also be

Kursus ini melengkapkan pelajar dengan kefahaman tentang teori serta amalan
pengajaran dan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggeris di sekolah rendah. Ia memberi
pelajar pendedahan kepada pelbagai pendekatan, kaedah dan teknik mengajar
Bahasa Inggeris sesuai dengan kepelbagaian kecerdasan pelajar di dalam bilik
darjah. Di samping melengkapkan pelajar dengan kemahiran mengurus bilik
darjah, pendedahan juga diberi kepada pengajaran kelas cantum, aktiviti
