Summary Description Tata Sky Ltd was incorporated in 2004 as an 80:20 joint venture between the Tata Group and STAR TV Network. It is the third largest DTH TV broadcaster in India with approximately 7 million subscribers. Tata Sky offers viewers a variety of entertainment, sports, movie, music, news and documentary channels through a DTH platform. It broadcasts over 150 television channels and charges INR 175 to INR 310 per month for its packages. Customers are charged INR 1,500 for a set-top box and have a choice of pay-per-view.
